About the Opportunity
We’re hiring an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and roadmap for eLxr Pro, our commercial Debian distribution. We launched the eLxr Project and its commercial version, eLxr Pro, in 2024 to address challenges presented by today’s edge-to-cloud deployments and provide a secure, lightweight enterprise Linux based on Debian.
As Product Manager for eLxr (Pro and Project), you will own the strategy and roadmap for this product line end-to-end. You’ll gather input from external customers, sales, market research, fellow product managers, support teams, and partners, and define the future of enterprise Linux at Wind River with a focus on the edge.
You will take over some existing projects and roadmap elements and collaborate with other product managers on the team who own other parts of our commercial Linux offering. You will write requirements, justify investments, prioritize the backlog, own your roadmap, do market research, analyze the competition, collaborate with the sales teams on key deals, review defects, engage with extended teams, and evangelize eLxr Pro and Project both internally and externally.
You will work in close partnership with experienced Engineering and Product Management teams.
