About the role:

Under the direction of Global Commercial Risk Quality Control - NA, the Senior Analyst completes loan reviews on commercial loan portfolios.

This position will be located in Irving, Texas and following a hybrid work model. Hybrid (Combination of work from home and in-assigned office location)

RESPONSIBILITIES

What makes you a dream candidate?

  • Participate in regular commercial loan reviews to ensure the portfolio's asset quality, the completeness and accuracy of loan documentation, and the adherence to compliance requirements
  • Assess the creditworthiness of the commercial loan portfolio, looking for changes that merit a review of lending practices and/or asset classification
  • Analyze commercial loan underwriting, credit decisions, booking, and monitoring activities to identify risks and the controls in place to mitigate these risks
  • Review commercial loan policy and procedure for adequacy, including ensuring that practice upholds policy
  • Commercial automotive lending risk management background or equivalent preferred
  • Working knowledge of commercial automotive underwriting and risk rating evaluations
  • Monitoring and analyzing commercial portfolios and industry trends to identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Developing and implementing new products, business strategies, credit policies and special campaigns for a commercial portfolio
  • Financial accounting and the relationship between balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Capable of managing multiple and varied assignments in a time-sensitive environment


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial automotive lending required
  • 2-3 years of experience in organizing data and spreadsheet development preferred
