The Role
As a Director, Communications Consulting, you will lead a team of Communications Consultants (CC's) who strategize with Fidelity's upper market corporate clients to develop and deliver best-in-class benefits communications and results-focused education that will prompt their employees to take their next best step for their retirement readiness and financial wellness.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree - Required or equivalent with 10-12 years of demonstrated ability
- Management experience is preferred
- Experience in employee benefits communications and/or financial services preferred
- Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses or attained within 90 days of hire
- Strong leadership, facilitation, influencing, decision-making and team building skills
- Collaboration and partnership focus
- Client servicing skills and experience
- Organizational change experience
- Ability to lead a team across multiple geographical locations
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, matrix management environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, high integrity and an executive presence in front of clients and key business partners
- Ability to think strategically and advise with senior leaders to inspire change and deliver results

The Team
The Director, Communications Consulting position exists within Fidelity's Workplace Client and Participant Services, Communications & Education (C&E) business unit. C&E provides consulting and content development and delivery via various channels for business partners, prospects, plan sponsors, and their participants across our upper market corporate segments. This role leads, coaches and inspires a team of CC's who are responsible for client consultation, design and execution of benefits communications and participant education strategies. The Director drives client and participant satisfaction for Fidelity's communication and education platforms through effective coaching and leadership, and proactively identifies and participates in critical initiatives that will positively impact Fidelity and our clients.
